Danger can occur when you least expect it. Nina and Kim thought they were safe while hiking in their local park in Ft Collins, CO. Certainly they were not expecting to encounter a man hiding in the trees who would attack them. The camouflaged man grabbed Nina and placed a knife to her throat. As the reality of the situation set in, the girls amazingly managed to remain calm. While the man dragged Nina further into the woods he threatened to cut her throat if Kim did not follow. That’s when instinct kicked in. The ladies fought with fierce conviction and used a walking stick forcing the man to eventually flee.
